Me*lis"sa, n, a feminine name: dim. Missy; Sweet; Outgoing; Honest; Easy to talk to; Girl next door; Acronym: MELISSA: My Entire Life Is Spent Striving Ahead.

I find that while it's often hard to define myself with something as vapid as words, my simple acronym does well - and is the only one that suits me.

I am walking contradiction, an artist, a creative writing enthusiast, and a student who enjoys the simple things in life. My range of interests and experiences will not only intrigue but surprise you.

I'm a natural (dark) redhead (who confesses to going about three shades lighter) with smooth alabaster skin, fine constellations of freckles scattered about, luscious full lips, and soulful ebon eyes.  I stand at 5'5'' (5'9'' in heels), with a quintessential hourglass figure.  I wear a size 2/4 and measure in at a 34D-24-36.  My pictures are from December 2011, what you see is what you get!  I enjoy walking, indoor biking, yoga, and kickboxing to stay in shape.  

I'm a bit quirky and a little sarcastic.  I'm also known to be bubbly, fun, down to earth and ready to enjoy a wide range of activities with you, both indoor and out.  I don't wear a lot of makeup and often get described as "fresh faced", "natural", and "the girl next door". The glasses you'll find on my face 24/7 probably help with that last one. My photographer thinks I look best without them, but I did manage to sneak them in some of my photos. I take them off by requests, but don't be surprised if you never see me without them.

I am 27 or as I like to say "20 and some change".  That changes in June of each year.  I was an early bloomer, physically and emotionally.  I was two years younger than everyone in my class at school, where getting older was the ultimate rite of passage.  I graduated at 16 without a driver's license. The experience has caused me to enjoy leisurely come into my own and I plan to "age with grace". I just prefer to be real, and always represent myself as who I really am.  I will always answer a good question as I believe honesty is one of the most important character qualities that a person can have. This is not an invitation to ask inappropriate questions or pry into my personal life, but rather my offer to you to peek inside and see a little of what's underneath. As you will come to find, I am more than what you see on the surface.
